I advise you to take your Ballon d’Or, go

It’s perfectly fine to admire someone you respect, but it is unacceptable to demean another person on a global stage to elevate your idol. That is simply wrong.
Since winning the Ballon d’Or, Rodri, who was once seen as humble and quiet, has been making media appearances and sharing misguided opinions.
Recently, he disrespected Cristiano Ronaldo by calling him talentless. It’s hard to believe that Rodri, who couldn’t win the Ballon d’Or without the support of FIFA and others, would make such a statement.
Rodri stated, “Cristiano has managed to match Messi without innate talent. But those of us who have played against them can see the difference.”
Dear Mr. Man, you’ve likely played against Cristiano only a handful of times during your career and faced him when he was nearing retirement. You wouldn’t be able to lace up his shoes if you had faced him in his prime; by now, you’d probably be crying foul like those retired and bitter pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
The reason we admire and idolize Cristiano is his remarkable adaptability. Throughout his prime, he played in various positions and often on different wings while still topping the scoring charts. He has played under numerous coaches, for several clubs, and against tough defenders while excelling in the game.
For those who attribute CR7’s success solely to goals: if Cristiano were merely about scoring, why are there countless players with impressive skills who couldn’t come close to matching the number of headed goals Ronaldo has scored throughout their entire career?
Dear Rodri, Cristiano’s talent and hard work have brought him immense success. Even if you don’t like CR7, you should never call him talentless. Instead of displaying this disgrace on a global stage, it would be better for people to see you as timid.
I advise you to take your Ballon d’Or, go home, and enjoy the loot and recognition you’ve received!
Don’t be silly!
