Paige Spiranac stirs debate with risque outfit as she makes return to golf

Former professional golfer Paige Spiranac often shares regular updates with her social media followers – and her latest post was no different

Former professional golfer and social media influencer Paige Spiranac once set the internet abuzz when she posted photos on a golf course that raised eyebrows among her 3.9 million Instagram fans.

Sporting a plunging white top paired with a high ponytail, Spiranac cheekily queried if her look was fitting for the fairway by captioning: “The shirt has a collar so it’s golf-appropriate right?”

Subscribers to her OnlyPaige platform are treated to additional, exclusive posts a playful reference to the well-known adult site.

A popular figure online, Spiranac also receives raving comments such as: “I just love that you’ve been messing with all the haters. You won a PGA tour event! You got a hole-in-one with Gary player right next to you. People still doubt you because you like to be a woman,”.

Others tongue-in-cheek responded to her post, with remarks like: “That has an awesome collar. I love how it accentuates your…uh hmm….shoulders.”

While all in good fun, some followers criticised Spiranac for seemingly objectifying Norman.

The 27-year-old has been vocal in the past in her criticism of archaic golf standards, particularly about what female players are allowed to wear on the course.

Some Twitter users accused Spiranac of double standards, saying she can’t complain about people commenting on her body if she is happy to comment about others like Norman.

I’m absolutely delighted to be here,” Raso said after the announcement. “I think the WSL is such a competitive league, you see that with all of the games and all of the teams. So for me coming back here, it was an easy choice, I want to be back in this league, at this level and Spurs was the team that I chose to do that.”
