Charlie Woods bounced back from the disappointment of an American junior and won the first “major” tournament.

Charlie Woods responded like a Tiger True Tiger, but he won a major jagenia in Southern Florida during his first departure after a junior disaster in the United States.

Charlie Woods showed some of his father’s characteristics with golf swing and his current manners. Also, after winning the first major tournament victory, he seems to have a tiger resilience.

Just a week ago, Woods missed a cup in the US amateur Junior, after seeing the USGA brutal starting ending 22 in 36 holes. But the 15-year-old responded in typical Woods fashion by going for the win on his next start, seemingly retaining the old Tiger’s fighting spirit.

On July 31, Woods won the South Florida Junior Cup, one of eight events designated as flagship events on the South Florida Junior Tour. Well, this is not one of those majorers that the tiger hid at home, but this is the beginning, and the circumstances of the victory make it even more impressive, given what happened last time.

Woods shot 73-68-73 in the eastern Ballenisles Country Club course to finish as the only one from the initial field 63 to finish the tournament under the face value. And even in his post-round comments, Charlie displayed the same tenacity that inspired his father throughout his storied career – and his performance at the U.S. Junior Amateur only fueled his passion for success.

“I wanted this so bad,” Woods said. “I felt focused and I knew what I had to do to get there. I wanted to prove that I could do more.”

“I think it’s the result of a lot of hard work this summer. “I wanted to redeem myself and I’m happy with how I played.”

Having that last name brings a lot of pressure and expectations for Charlie, but whether his golfing skills hold up in the future, he already seems to have a great attitude about the game.

Maybe it helps that he’s already been in the spotlight. Woods regularly performs Tiger partners with PNC championships when it is difficult to ignore the swing comparison.

Despite the fact that he was very young, teenagers were seen in August and other major championships. This kind of misfortune in the U.S. Junior Amateur always attracts attention, and going forward, every performance like that one at Oakland Hills will prompt questions about how good Charlie could have been to qualify for the U.S. Open, where he shot 81 in a local qualifying tournament to pre-qualify for the Cognizant Classic PGA Tour. That didn’t do him any favors — he shot an 86 while having a little trouble on the par-four at No. 12 — but then again, a lot has happened because of it.

But these events were all well above the level a 15-year-old golfer should be achieving, and Woods has won two events in two months at his level, so he’s doing well overall. The way he’s handled the situation over the last couple of weeks, even if he doesn’t reach the heights his father did, it won’t be for lack of trying.
